Scope

This policy applies to every subscription and one-time item sold by Spotbo, Inc., trading as VCorp Holdings, across every product listed on the products page. It forms part of the Terms of Sale.

All products are software delivered as a service. Nothing physical is shipped, so there is nothing to return and no return policy applies. What follows sets out cancellation, refunds, and disputes instead.

02

Cancelling a subscription

You may cancel at any time, without giving a reason and without a cancellation fee, in either of two ways:

  • from the billing screen inside the product, which takes effect immediately and needs no confirmation from us; or
  • by writing to contact@vcorp.co, in which case we action it within one business day and confirm by email.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for, and the subscription then lapses. We do not require notice periods and we do not charge for the period after cancellation takes effect.

03

The fourteen-day refund

Any first payment for a subscription is refundable in full if you ask within fourteen days of that payment.

This applies to every product and every plan, it applies whether or not you used the product in those fourteen days, and it does not depend on the reason. Ask within the window and the whole amount goes back.

04

Renewals

A renewal charge is refundable in full if you ask within fourteen days of the renewal date and you have not made substantial use of the service in that period. Substantial use means materially more than testing that access still works.

Where the renewal was unintended — the reminder was missed, the account had been dormant, the wrong entity was billed — we refund the renewal in full as a matter of course, whether or not the fourteen days have passed. A charge nobody meant to make is not one we keep.

05

Refunds we make without being asked

We refund in full, on our own initiative, where:

  • you were charged twice for the same period;
  • you were charged after cancelling, or on an account that had already lapsed;
  • the product was materially unavailable for a sustained period and we could not restore it;
  • we ended or suspended your subscription other than for your breach; or
  • we could not lawfully supply you, including under the export and sanctions clause of the Terms of Sale.
06

One-time purchases

Items sold once rather than by subscription — the ExactClose Review Pack and the Klarrechnung 10er-Paket — are refundable in full within fourteen days of purchase to the extent they are unused. Where part has been used, we refund the unused part on a pro rata basis: unused reviews, unused invoices.

07

Consumer withdrawal rights

A consumer in the European Union or the United Kingdom has a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen days, without giving a reason. That right applies in addition to this policy and is not restricted by it.

Where you ask us to begin supplying the service immediately, and the service is fully performed within the withdrawal period with your prior express consent, the statutory right may be lost. In practice we do not rely on that: the fourteen-day refund in clause 3 is given regardless.

To withdraw, a statement to that effect sent to contact@vcorp.co is enough. No particular form is required.

08

How a refund is paid

Refunds are made to the original payment method, in the original currency, and cannot be redirected to a different card or account. We approve or decline a request within one business day of receiving it and, where approved, submit the refund within two business days. Your bank then typically posts it within five to ten business days; that last step is outside our control.

A refund of an amount that included tax includes the tax. Where your card issuer applied a conversion or cross-border fee to the original charge, that fee is set by the issuer and is not ours to return.

We do not charge a restocking, processing, or administration fee on a refund.

09

What is not refunded

Outside the circumstances above, we do not refund a period that has already been supplied and used — including where a subscription simply went unused, and including the current period on a downgrade. Account credit granted as a goodwill gesture or as part of a promotion is not convertible to cash.

These exclusions do not limit any statutory right you have as a consumer, and they do not apply where the service was defective or was not supplied.

10

Disputes and chargebacks

If a charge looks wrong, write to contact@vcorp.co with the date and the last four digits of the card before contacting your bank. We answer within one business day, and where the charge should not have been taken we refund it without argument. Going directly to us is faster than a chargeback, which takes weeks to resolve through the card networks.

Where you do raise a chargeback, we respond to it within the time the card network allows and provide the evidence we hold: the order, the plan and price shown at checkout, the terms accepted, the access provisioned, and the correspondence. If the charge was ours to refund, we accept the dispute rather than contest it.

Charges appear on statements as SPOTBO, INC., or SPOTBO, IN where the bank shortens it, whichever product was purchased, because Spotbo, Inc. bills for all of them. An unfamiliar name on a statement is the most common reason for a dispute; the customer service page exists partly so that it can be resolved in one email.

Amendment

This policy may be amended. The version published here on the date of a payment governs that payment; a later amendment never reduces a refund right that had already accrued. The reference and version shown in the header identify the current text.
